I brought home some goodies from the show! As a member of the Taylor Hicks Headquarters fan club, I was given a special ID card to wear at the concert. They were selling autographed copies of one of Taylor’s earlier albums ("In Your Time"), so I picked up one of those as well. For a while now, I’ve been talking with a new friend, Karen, who works with the Kid One Patrol of Soul group (or "KOPS"). KOPS is working on its second cookbook to raise money for one of Taylor’s favorite charities, Kid One Transport. I purchased the first cookbook last year…long before I met Karen. I’m working with Karen and KOPS now as they prepare to release their second cookbook, and I’d love it if everyone ordered one! Karen and I were finally able to meet face-to-face at the show, and she gave me a KOPS button to wear.
